Why so many 2011 800's for sale in swapmeet? Just wondering, any theories? This sled would be the next logical step for me since I am on an 08 D8 now, and I have seen a deal or two locally for used ones with low miles.

From this forum it sounds like the voltage regulators may be a problem still? Had one blow on my sled and take out the ECU too... under warranty less $50 deduct. Now my warranty is gone and I am getting nervous, so I was thinking of jumping to a newer sled with hopefully less VR and engine troubles...

wouldn't want to need to put more then oil and gas into a sled. if they could put oil in them without opening the hood they would. these are the best deals to buy imo, buy when the bugs are worked out of the chassis and motor, and scoop up on a pull and go sled with low miles from richy rich,,, who probly dont know how to sidehill the thing anyway.:face-icon-small-sho

on the pro's I think it has more to do with supply/demand, everyone jumped on the first few that came up for sale(and at top dollar too) so some decided to sell(hoping to also get top dollar) and buy new next season...pretty typical for a hot sled, regardless of brand...now that the season is winding down, you will see the prices come down since they were priced right at or above what peeps paid for them.....those prices wont hold up now with the season coming to an end and snowcheck right around the corner....

I see that here in MN every year, Buy them to ride for a few trips out west and resell asap before the winter ends. If the price is right you should look at pulling the trigger otherwise wait and see. The good news is that the valve should not decrease nearly as bad as the D8's did.

there will be alot latter as the snow checks get that 1000.00 for upgrading IMO
