Has any one been reading on the CVT transmissions that Nissan, Subaru,Toyota, and other car companies are using. i have been reading up on new cars and new tech when the new nissan maxima caught my eye. Both the nissan maxima and the Subarus are coming with CVT technology. The designs are really cool and confusing but At least i can see how they work. It look identical to a driven but instead of belts it uses chains. That is what gets me i see how the chains and not belts where added for wear issues but wouldn't a chain tear the faces of the clutch to pieces. Anyway thought it was really cool how a little snowmobile can have a big effect.
