On Sunday I had plans to go for my last ride of the season with a buddy who I met through Snowest. It was going to be a sunny, spring ride. Out to the garage I go, start my sled and the "check engine" light is flashing 5 times. STINK!
I go back inside and do a search in the Polaris section for a possible explanation, since it is Sunday and dealers are not open this is going to be my fastest source of information. I quickly find out that this is an exhaust sensor issue. I could ride with it, but it'll add fuel to the system making it bog and possibly causing issues all day. NOT how I want my last ride to go.
Hmmmmmm what to do...
I remember another friend, who I have met through Snowest, was NOT riding on this day and has a 600 RMK. I did a quick search of part #s to find out that the 700 and 600 use this same part #. I call friend and ask to borrow their sensor for the day and get "SURE!"
We load up, stopping along the way to grab that part and head on up to Baker for a fantastic spring day of riding!
So, as you can see my day was made great because of the people I've met through here and by the information gathered here. That right there was worth my $10....
