Why does Klim have huge space at shows this year?

Just looked at the floor plans for the Utah and Idaho shows. Klim has a huge space at each of the shows this year. In years past they had a small booth or even none at all. I wonder if they are starting to get a little concerned about some of the other companies taking marketshare away.

i dont think they have to worry about that, their gear is far and away the best in the industry, but they do have a huge fancy booth this year!

Fishy!!!

Checked on the Milwaukee show for next wkend, same thing, big Klim booth. I happen to know the folks who run the show, it is NOT Klim corporate. Instead it's some dealership in Indiana, same group that was there last year. They look like Klim corporate, all geared up in logos, etc.
I don't know what Klim is up to but I know my local dealer took a hit last year at the show trying to compete with this "Klim" booth. He sold little of his Klim stock at the show, hard to compete with a "corporate" looking booth! I know he was not happy!

Except for last year Klim had the largest area in the Denver Snow show. Well it was actually Xtreme Performance dumping old product, but if you didn't know any better you would think it was Klim.

They are in the business to make money after all and the shows are most likely extremely profitable. A lot of people going to the shows with money burning a hole in their pocket.

Then again maybe its Obama's fault.

Yep, Alaska just paid out it's annual Permanent Fund Dividend on Thursday, and the show starts today (Friday). $1,281 each, do you think the vendors what a piece of the action???

My High Gear bibs are made in Hood River Oregon. Custom order for my extended needs and shipped to my door. Warranty work is done in their facility too, if and/or when any may need done.

No. It would make items cost 2-3 more. It just is not even an option.

Well, it should be an option.

Let the little kids from Bangledesh go out & pick rocks or fix fence like I had to.
I didn't have no "cushy snowmobile garment factory job" when I was a kid!

We truly need to start weening our selves off of foreign made goods.

Klim is going to at the shows showing and demonstrating there gear, lots of new stuff this year and last year sales sucked,You will still have to buy it from a dealer and at the snow shows there is a 10% maximum discount which is supposedly this year is going to be strictly enforced by Klim doing spy buys at the different dealers
