looking at some inputs on running the 11 series weights on the 900s..

I know they are around 2g lighter then the 10 series for the same clutching...(ie. if you have 10-70 weights now, you would get 11-68 series weights)

1. any issues with belt pinch notbeing tight enough?

2. is there an increase on bottom end with the profile being more on the bottom of the weight vs the tip?

3. is there a decrease in RPM at top end?

any inputs would be great...Thanks Guys!!

I ran 11-72's in my 900 last year. They did real well just wish i would have used heavier ones, probly more around an 11-76.

1. Never had any issues with the belt slipping.

2. I believe they hit harder on the bottom end with stronger profile.

3. Did not see a decrease in RPM. Actually saw an increase, had to play with a lot of springs.

Hope this helps bro!

What weights are you useing now ? like chunkysoup said your going to have to play with springs if you switch to 11s

i have the 74g MTX weights now, i really like them...

just kicking the idea is all, found a set for checp but sold them already...no worries..

thanks for the inpits guys, i dont really have time to mess with spring rates for a while anyways, lol. the sled needs to run first :face-icon-small-win

The 11 series weights will close your clutch a bit. If you have too much side clearance it will help, if you are already dialed in you will likely be too tight. Guessing about .020" less side clearance.

Sean I would stay with the adjustable weights . adding /subtracting weight is much cheaper that buying whole sets. I also run the MTX
