Who's running Zero Pro's w/out the sway bar?

I'm running about 3/4" of preload on 110# springs, the front end still feels real "heavy". I have let my limiters out to lighten the front end too. My rubber stoppers are always pushed all the way down to the bottom of the shaft
I'm wondering if

  1. My spring isn't heavy enough
  2. I need more preload
  3. both
So, let me know your stats.......weight riding, spring size and preload you are running and how it feels for you.

Zero Pros

Running zero pros with 170lb springs w/ 1/2" of preload and it still leans over easier than with the swaybar. I weigh 230 with gear. I have tried limiters all the way out and I liked the feel but trenched to bad. I have the limiters in the middle position and still trenches:face-icon-small-fro I ride with a M7 with a 162" track, if he's trenching 1', I'm trenching 2' or more with my 159" track. Anything I can do?

170 lb. spring??? That would be a monster spring considering the difference between the 100 lb and 110 lb spring.
I had the Fox rep size my weight to the 110 lb spring and I've heard of guys going to the 120 lb spring.
If you're running a 170 lb spring @ 230 geared....I'm running a 110 lb spring @ 210 geared...........hmmmmmmmm.

I tried 120 then 150 then 170. The 120 was titanium off of a ski doo and rolled alot unless sucked all the way down, I really wanted to use it because the weight savings is amazing. The 150 I bought from babbits was for a 2010 assault and wasnt bad but once I bought the 170 lb off ebay that were used off of a IQR race sled they felt the best. Originally I had no preload but have kept adding a little as they seem to break in. I talked to numerous people who said to add 40-50lb if removing swaybar.

Remove powder pros and install gripper skis. That will make your steering considerably lighter.

Its not the steering that's the issue, though I did just order a set of Gen III's
Front ends feels too soft.

Springy

I run 120 LB Springs Ryde FX on my 2005 166 900 / No Sway bar. I like it.

I run Zero Pros with a 100 lb springs on the girl friends 2006 685 HO IQ
No Sway Bar. Works great

Valve your shocks accordingly. this is very important.

I have 135 rate springs with 1' of preload on my WE coilovers with no sway bar. I assume you have the 225# front track spring?

I think Zane has lost his mind ! Grippers instead of PPs:face-icon-small-con Insanity I tell ya!

LOL, nope, I have Powder Pros, Just trying to get him to take his off and send them to me for Spares or the second sled I am buying that doesn't have them. I don't have a problem with steering or weight on the 900. The Timbersled suspension has an adjustment in the back to take the weight off the front. :face-icon-small-win
