Extended Weather Synopsis for Sunday through Tuesday
The strongest front yet seen in December is expected to pass of Christmas Day, bringing significant cooling a period of moderate precipitation followed by orographic showers along the west slope areas late through Christmas before diminishing overnight.
Another yet stronger frontal system is expected Monday with a strong frontal passage expected across the Cascades Monday night. This should establish a change to stronger westerly flow in the eastern north Pacific. This flow should bring another strong front past the area Tuesday night with strong winds and a periods of heavy precipitation.

Finally good news on the wether forecast 
Monday should be a good snow day up in the high country.
Ride yesterday was all right. Lots of road mile. Toured all over out of Crystal Springs snow park. Can't even tell you everywhere we went. Even got off trail a little.
Snow was hard most everywhere with a couple inches of fresh on top.
Did learn one thing though--going to have to ride there with fresh snow. Looked like some pretty good riding to be had.
Rode with a few new peeps and a couple I had ridden with a few years ago. Good times gentlemen. Thank you for the invite. I look forward to hittin the hills with you again soon. thanks for the tour (and yes-I am sore).
