Whoop-em-up parking tickets

Hwy 21 is plowed first

Idaho Dept. of Transportation's main job is the plowing of Hwy. 21 and when that is completed then the parking lots are plowed. If it keeps snowing, then it will take awhile to get to the parking lots.

I am aware of that

Yes that is true just some rant i have when you have be the nice guy to help out fellow sledders and the poor little skiers!!!!:face-icon-small-hap

Yha, and the sledders paid $18.000 a year to have their parking lots cleared (to IDT), and the skies don't pay a dime, and they get their parking lots cleared at the same time we get ours.

But, IDT is doing us a favor. And, skiers are too cheap to ever pay for anything. I know. BTW, that dollar figure came from IDPR payments. I went down there and asked, in person. Try to get IDT to come to a meeting some time, and learn how it all really works behind the scenes.

But, on the flip side, if anyone complains, we won't get our parking lots cleared. So, don't whine.

Funny how gas tax money causes you to be charged, and then villainised (sp)!

Oh, and when it comes time for the GD iron man contest, they will just close HWY21, and tell all the people that live up there to go get F'ed. I know that, cause the director of IDT sent me a nice letter and told me as much, when I complained to the governors office.

I called the Prosecuting Attorney's office this morning, the person I talked to there was very nice and said that someone would call me. I just recieved a phone call from officer Nielson; he apologized and told me to just throw the ticket away. He said he has patrolled that area for for a long time and he just made a mistake. I do find that a little suspect. I hope that his apology was sincere and not done just because he got in trouble and was told he had to. I told him I did appreciate him calling me.

Not to belittle the tickets problem, but,

If you want tickets, we can provide them for you too. Come on up to McCall on the 6th. and get some tickets when you register, pick up more at the check points on the ride and you can buy more if desired, and then deposit them in the metal cans in front of the many, many prizes available.

What is this??? It is the McCall FUN RUN. Registration starts at 9 goes till noon, and drawings start at 3:30. Park at the West Face lot about 3 miles west out of McCall. Registration, drawings, food and refreshments are available across the road at the Bear Creek Lodge. Ride out and enjoy our great snow that we have been getting.

First Place is $500 cash, second is $250 and many more great snowmobile related items are going to be won. Registration is only $10. Profits (if any) goes for scholarships to high school seniors, 4@$500 from the club.

Spud

PS, Valley County plows our lots and the charge is very, very low, leaving a lot more funds for the grooming operation. We do appreciate them.

No joke, Boise County is so poor, the Sheriff's department told me they don't have Caller ID, cause they can't afford it. Good luck getting them to plow anything.

Good news we went to Whoop-Um-Up to groom over to the middle fork of the Boise River yesterday at about 8:30 a.m. returning last night around 10:00 p.m and get this NO i repeat NO parking ticket on the Kenworth groomer truck I guess things are looking up.

other side of things

their still trying to plow my wallet.:face-icon-small-sad

hey just wanted to say that I was parked in the same lot, at the same time as MOCO (in fact about 30 feet away) and didn't get a ticket. besides my truck being bigger and more manly, we both had sled trailers so... they were more of less the same. Of course, I didn't yell at skiers and do the "parking lot racer" thing that MOCO did... I'm just saying. Anybody that knows him would have to admit, he is kind of a "lightning rod." :brick:

any other day this woul have been funny but as it turns out, this was a real "insult to injury" thing... 2 blown motors in 3 days and then when you drag your dead sled back to the truck, there's a little salt for your wound. sorry for ya buddy. hope it gets fixed. let me know if you want me to make a high powered phone call for ya... ya right.

just to clear this up

after reading my last post i wanted to clear up just one little detail...

when I said " you drag your dead sled back to the truck"... what really happened is I dragged your dead azz cat back to the truck (again!) with my little black beauty I like to call "tow truck." Paul / SWIM, put up the pix for proof!

love ya man!

Hauler (as in "I'll hauler off the mtn for you buddy...") hahahahahah

thanks for the sympathy

come on...

WADE you know his motor is stock... just ask him. ya right.

funny thing about this site. everytime i think i've looked at a post to try and reduce the errors and omitted words it seems like a waste of time. WTF!? does this site have an editor that takes out letters and screws up my sentences or something. That, or I need to stop the whole "drink and post" thing. hahahahhaaha

anyway, MOCO just said he and the infamous SLEDMASTER almost have the "new" new motor (ya thats a new motor to replace the new motor in the new sled... try to say that 5 times real fast!) in and ready for tuning. Rough life when you can take the week off to build sleds. oh wait "take the week off" implies that you had a job that required you to make arrangenments NOT to be at work! Damn trust fund baby! and no i'm not jealous, i happen to be at work as i write this post... lucky me. :face-icon-small-coo how bout a job MOCO... or at least as raise for being your only friend. hahahaha

anybody wanna ride on sunday?

Hauler (aka: cat dragger)

AND THEN...

"And you work? What you should of said is that your sitting in your office playing on snowest, would of been a lot more accurate! lol"

This from the guy sitting at his desk... at work! :face-icon-small-sho Helloooooo pot, :phone: this is the kettle, you're black! hahhaha

I didn't know you were MOCO's cheerleader?! hahahaha I'm excited for you but a little sad that you got elected president of his fan club... that was my job. :face-icon-small-fro

Hauler out! (like Seacrest out but not gay! hhahaha)

damn thats nice

right on BLUE! I wish the tow line was a little more visible but what are ya gonna do... honestly, it looks kinda like one of the Klim photo shoots I do every year. Ya know being that handsome is not as easy as you guys might think. ah well, guess thats just the cards I was dealt. :face-icon-small-coo

Hey BLUE how did the sled look the next day? hope its good cause there is a lot more riding to be done before we park them for the year... you should talk to MOCO about the special glasses we want to get you. I think they'll be your favorite piece of gear after you give them a try. AND we all promise not to throw tree magnets in you sled again. :face-icon-small-hap Who knew those things really worked??! and not just once but like, over and over again... hahhahaha j/k man!

Hauler (aka: MOCO's daddy)
