WhoooHooo!!!! Mini! Snowest News!!!!

Mini, I am so excited for you. You are just one of the more real and sincere people that I have met. I wish you luck in all you do and please get your arse out here to ride with Melissa and I. I think that you would be great for my daughter to learn from.

Good LUCK, you deserve it.:D

Kudos to you, Amber!!!!
you are truly one of the sports most passionate ambassadors.
Best to you. I suggest anyone with the chance to clinic with Amber take advantage of that opportunity.

Rock ON!

I went riding with a large SW group up trestle and some dude on an RX1 was wanting pointers on sidehilling.

She was over there helping him out before he could hardly get the words out his mouth. It's obvious she enjoys helping others.

Mini is a class act in my book

That's awesome mini

I used to get pissed when people told me i ride like a girl. But after seeing Amber ride, I just take it as a compliment now

Thankyou

WOW! Thank you very much everyone! I think some of those comments really made my ears even redder than my cheeks! A few of you have been there with me from almost the beginning & a few just recently... how I can I express how grateful I am for all the help & support along the way to the very present. Words can never surfeit.

Specifically I would like to thank my Husband, & best friend, Budd. He gave up almost 2 full years of real mountain riding, sacrificed many material wants (so that I could ride nice equipment also), & endless last strings of patience (Though sometimes I did not deserve that patience, believe me!) to help me reach these goals. He not only helped me become his riding partner on the snow today, but never wavered believing in me to pursue my goals! I believe the word failure does not exists & I mainly attribute this to him & his support!

The idea of Mini's Back Country Basics started about 2.5 years after I started riding. This is when I really began to grasp mountain riding. Today, my drive is to keep the passion for the industry alive, & the economy for our sled industry strong & growing stronger. I believe we needed this era of a educational approach to riding skills & knowledge. Hopefully this will be what takes for those who maybe have become complacent, or perhaps brand new to sledding, or maybe even help those simply looking for another direction within the sport to feel that 'new alive' sensation that is filled with fire & confidence!

I have been graciously given so much from the outdoors, experiences, industry, friends, & family. The greatest gift was the discovery of the most amazing part of my soul when I am out there riding. These clinics are my way of giving back & saying thank you from deep down! I think everyone should experience this at least for one minute in each of their lives on a sled! The power of adrenaline, freedom, confidence, & true happiness all freight training at the same time over a few CC's & the simple squeeze of a throttle!!
One simple problem, once it is experienced the draw never dies!

About time someone did this. Good on your Mini.

After watching the horse riding world, I was wondering why someone hadn't done this. In horse riding, you pretty much can't get on a horse until you taken classes. (At least that's what everyone tells you.)

You should consider putting together a video too. Show some techniques in slow motion. Cover survival with some experts.

Mini's basics graduate

I am a graduate of Mini's Backcountry basics and I have been Amber's friend for some several months. It would be hard to find a more pleasant, talented, caring, genuine, or enthusiastic person.
I know she hates this kind thing (compliments) so I thought I would give her more.
Amber for President!

Wade,
Funny you should mention this aspect as well. I am hoping some form of visual media instruction will be a future outcome as well, & has been discussed on how we might accomplish this & present it so it is easy & interesting to grasp to the viewer.

Thank you again everyone.
