Who will Organize the races this year at the Baker Shootout

Will anybody step up this year and organize the racing on the hill, It would be great to have a more formal race course this year.

FWIW....I like the idea of an drag race up big house and then some fun and showing off the polished brass at the horse corral, then return back to peanut nob for the food later in the day. What does everybody else think?:beer;

I was thinking the NWGC were going to have that set-up.
MR.PREZ/AJ/Retodd/Jstrows/HPI----What is up with this?? Good question Snowbyrd.

I beleive the call out for the horse corral session is for 12:00---Am I correct in this assumption?

All I know is I willbe there friday morning and enjoy the weekend!!

Good question...

From all the feed back that we have recieved prior to yours, one of the major draws was the "outlaw" feel of the non structured day. Kinda wing it based on the Viz and the terrain that day. Anyone who rides there knows that Baker creates its own weather and setting up any kinda formal course could easily be for nothing.

The Horse corral / Lookout , Big House, Pocket Lake etc... All extremely good spots to tear it up. I'm thinking that the people will meet up at the club tent and that it will develop from there.

From my understanding, the club is focusing on the parking, the camping, the cooking. For liability reasons, they can't put up a designated course.

This is where you guys come in and really help out. Like the horse corral at 12:00 idea, if you have a plan you wanna run with, speak up and everyone will probably follow you over there to participate.

This is all about braggin rights, hangin out, and 300 people trying to find Winterbrew's sled.:beer;:beer;

With all the snow were getting right now, we'll be lucky to get above peanut:D

Got Snorkel?

Who woulda thought 4' of powder and it's almost April! Gotta love it. Is someone, or has someone marked off the waterfall area for next weekend so we don't have any newbies takin nose dives.

That's been done for a few weeks now... Hopefully people are raising the markers as they drive by if the snow keeps dumping.

Snowbyrd in charge!!

I nominate Snowbyrd/Modsldr to be in charge of time and places for the outlaw racing--or competitions. I need a second on the motion!!;)

AJ is right--kinda of have to play it by the weather for sure. NWGC will have their hands full doing the rest of what is required to make this event happen. Much appreciatted for sure.:)

No worries-

See ya up there friday!!

Paul,
It is gonna be a fun day. The food will be great. The racing even better. The snow on the hill is awesome!

You can race my sled while we are running things. Kind of a bucket of bolts but it likes a foot or more of fresh.

Jstrows---You can use my John Deere tractor to get around while you are running things then.

Your "Bucket of Bolts" will make the day for me--Just one pull--She runs pretty good for a Bucket!!
