I have been toying with the idea of having a small shop in the western US for a while and now would like to make the investment. I am looking for a person who is willing to devote 20-25 hrs per week,year round. Its disapointing to me that there are customers in the western US that I cannot reach due to shipping lead times. For instance,its 3-4 days ups from minnesota to NY,4 days most of wisconson and 4-5 anywhere in wyoming,utah,idaho. I do jobs from that area but not as many as I want to! My name is out there but the shipping cost and shipping lead time hinders some sales. This also goes for canada as most of my canadian customers are from ontario or quebec and not sask,manitoba,etc. My alaskan customer base could be better and a person in the midwest would help that cause.
The "right" person(s) should have the following qualities and current shock asborber experience preferred but not necesary.
-HONESTY! dont bs me and dont bs my customers-most important!
-a good mechanical backround
-highly organized and self motivated
-able to field phone calls on a regular basis, typically 8am till 8pm and return emails/messages within 1 day
-an assorment of hand tools,air compressor and safety equipment(fire extinguishers,safety glasses,gloves)
-adequate shelving/storage
-internet!!!! preferably high speed
-convienient distance from ups/fedex/dhl or usps
-good cell coverage at your home/shop (preferable verizon)
any and all applicants will need to supply referances. I also preferr a home owner vs a renter,unless you have a seperate shop away from your rental property.
If you have verizon cell already I will give you an allowance per month. If you do not, i may entertain giving you a verizon cell with an allowance of minuites/cash. we will talk more about that. any customers that contact me from your region will be directed to you. i get alot of emails/phone calls from that area of the US. You will not have to collect any credit cards or paypal if that bothers you. Your customer can call me or email the info and i will run it through my machine. each week i will pay you for your jobs. on avg you will make 17-25 per hr,no lie,no scam! i will also drop ship parts and supplies to you from my suppliers which you will get to know. ZBROZ racing shocks is out of UTAH and they are really breaking into the atv market now. this could mean alot of sales for you out west!
I need someone serious about becoming a partner in this evergrowing business. With more and more sleds being produced with rebuildable shocks and the need for replacments this market is continuing to grow. My advertisements on great boards like this one and many others,including ebay have spread me across the us and into parts of canada. More often than not people will pay extra for good service but with the cost of living going up a bit, that customer in idaho will stay local or goto a bordering state vs all the way to ny!
If the candidate has no experience with shocks but has the qualities and DESIRE to be successfull i will train you. how you may ask when you are 1500 or so miles away? video tutorials,phone conversation,notes,etc. possibly contribute to flying you out here for a weekend for hands on if need be.
If you have the desire to be successfull, the ambition and patience to learn the trade and can devote the time needed please get ahold of me asap. This fall with some new adventures,sponsorships and marketing I am sure to grow even more,this is why i need you!
