Who to have re-nic cylinder

I have an 08 D8, and if you can imagine, I have scored cylinders. I was wondering where is the best place to send it. I have talked to millennium, and us chrome. Just wanted some input.
thanks

I dont have a recomendation on who, but when you send it send the new piston measurements along with it and have them finish hone it to the tighter side of specs..it will make the skirts last much longer,....just make sure you always warm it up to at least 120 before getting on it hard(even when taking breaks on rides, put around till the motor gets warmed up again then get on it)...

Thanks Ak. I think that I am going to order the PMS Fix for it. Do you think I still need to send pistons? They are to weeks or better out to get a kit. The renic shops are about the same time frame. I know that I really don't want to run oem pistons until Polaris comes up with something different. Pretty bad when you need a tape measure, not a micrometer to measure your piston slap.:scared:

call PMS and ask them what their pistons are measuring, I would bet they know, and then tell that to who you send the cylinder to...also, make sure you check it when you get it from them..just to make sure it is right...that way you hopefully wont have any more issues with it...good luck....i think you are on the right track....

Millennium, is the best IMO. Out of Minnesota. Goggle will get you there. Very quick turn around time. Good prices.

I got my 08 cyl from eckoffs, they had it on the shelf. Mine had the 2010update before i got it,. It only lasted 600 miles broke a cyl skirt, cracked the case. I welded the case, new cyl. pms fix, 09 head, 08 flash and pcv. Completely rips azz now. 42 finish helix, black purple spring, stock 140-330 primary and pulling 68 grams @ 8200-8300 r's

U.S. Chrome took care of me when I siezed the 800 REV. Our snowmobile club was registered with them so I think I got like 20-25% off. I know it saved me like $50 just because I belonged to a club. ANOTHER REASON TO JOIN YOUR LOCAL CLUB!!

I dont know if you got it fixed yet but i would also suggest millennium technologies myself there actually out of wisconsin "no harm" they do great work and they will stand by it here is ther number 1-920-893-5595 and toll free is 1-888-779-6885. Good luck
