Who makes a good tight, non canvas m-series cover?

I've been using an old aftermarket polaris IQ cover that works pretty well but it's got so many damn straps and hooks and crap it's a pain to untangle and get on and off quickly.

A buddy of mine has an 08 with a lightweight two strap synthetic cover that's awesome but they don't sell that anymore.......just the 'waterlog ready' canvas ones. Those old ones have the goofy butt rock lightning bolt silliness on the sides but where do you find those? I think that's what I need. I don't care if it has 'crossfire' in blinking lights all over it.

Most of the aftermarket ones look cheeseball as hell.

I can't even figure out where covers are sold in the swapmeet here.

Thanks for any help!

Those are for the newer style chassis. It seems like that's all that's available now. I can't find any for anything pre-2012 that's not canvas. (I looked for an hour before starting this thread).

I'm just going to call country cat tomorrow and see if they have one balled up in a corner covered in dirt somewhere.

Skinz...

The Skinz cover is excellent quality and waterproof - I don't use a tarp often, but it's the only one I use.

ooh, them's pricey.

They do look nice though.

If I can't find an old one I may go that route.
How may straps/how complicated is the tie down system? That's mainly the reason I want to get a new one.

Thanks!

Three straps if I recall correctly. The initial install is a bit of a pain as the neoprene stretches to the shape of the sled, but after that it's a two minute job. They are pricey, but they last forever, and fit any sled - I've had mine for 9 years and installed on 5 different sleds - fit like a glove, no road salt damage

The Skinz (SPG) covers are nice, yes pricey but use only as a travel cover or indoor storage cover. As for an outdoor cover in direct Sun light the UV will just deteriorate the fabric and with big time color fade.

I store my sled in my garage so this is literally just to keep road crap off.

That's why I hate the canvas ones. Driving in a wet storm or right after one.......well you know what happens with those if you've ever had one.

I don't even know why they make them.

I have read where people speak highly of the Sno-Skinz covers. I like mine to a point and that point is when the roads are really wet and sloppy. I have removed mine in those conditions to find my sled wet and dirty.
