Hi

I was wondering who makes a good sled dolly. I have to move a few sleds around and my back isn't getting any younger......

I guess I'd prefer big wheel movers.... Not much of a snow pack this year and I'll be moving them on the lawn and mud to get to a good surface to load sleds...

for the garage get one of these:

with these dollies:

we bought two sets of these for our sleds. they work great, and the track saver is awesome for the deep lug tracks. for uneven ground ect... the cart style will work better. probably what you are looking for.

paul at sled solutions is a great guy, great customer service, fast shipping, and outstanding communication. ski

For the garage you can easily make one for yourself. Get a 1" square tubing about 2" wider than your track and weld about 6" of 1" square on the ends. You have and "I", then drill holes through it for the dolly wheels. What is nice about this set-up is that it keeps the track off the ground and allows your paddles to stay straight. This is pretty easy to make, then for loading and unloading the sled on this dolly just tuck it under the front of the track and slowly power brake the sled up onto the dolly. Use the front dollies like that shown to typically carry the front end (4-wheeled dolly). I put a small clevis and string across the front to hold the skie on the dolly in the rough surfaces. PM me if you need photos.

I have found that Toyota makes a great dolly. Works great for loading sleds in the trailer/deck too.

The 4000# lift in the background is a spare now that I wont need till snow melts. If there is a clean way to bring it up to ya (lease/borrow) that the border guys can live with I'd deliver for a ride and dinner. Propane with chains, runs great. Once you've had one you can't go without. It would just take a second to slap together another set of fork extentions. I could even boost it for ya for a nominal fee. lol. Let me know if its doable. Coming up to AM Ford this week for some warranty work, added trailer with lift would be no problemo. EW

You were spot on about the snow conditions the next day.... We were up Sunday and stuff was coming down all around..... Guess it's time to take a few day's off and let things settle!!!!

Give me a shout when you are up.... I'm dedicated to the install this week but if I have some free time it's always great to see you.

Cheers

PS... Nice Bigun.....

I'm serious about the lift if you need it and it can be done with the men in black. Well, I'm also serious about the dinner too. Let me know. I know you start 2 days of night shift today, thats scary man. LOL. EW

So the mount your building to attach rifle from sled to fork lift pretty cool. I think you may want to move the bracket from the ski to a adjustable bar riser mount and a front rest coming up from front bumper.

LOL. Looked at that option, the flying brass when going down the trail keeps hitting my goggles. That wont do. EW
