who makes a good ramp for loading sled in back of truck?

have bent my trifold atv ramp almost in half last season and need to find something a little better. searched google and came up with one made by RevArc, 90 inches looks pretty nice is arched and has a traction part that flips out on the ground so if you don't quite make it all the way up the ramp you don't just sit there and spin. that was one of the problems using the atv ramp. don't like the fact that the part for the ski guides is not filled and are open, another problem using the atv ramp. it is a trifold so will fit when stored. the only other thing i really found was a trifold that looked just like my atv one but had solid runners all the way up the sides, really wondering if this setup will bend in half just like my other. the RevArc was about $360 shipped and the other was about $250. found some around the $1500-2k range but thats a little more coin than i want to spend. looking for something in the $500 range. anyone know of any others???

loadez

I am building a ramp that is designed to self stow they are 10' in length. Web page coming soon with video and pricing. Looking to sell in the range of $879 plus shipping that is looking to be in the $200 to $300 range. if interested pm me and I will send u some pics Thanks Mike

Do a search for Heinsco,( trailer and transport sec.) out of Woodinville Wash. he has a ride on ramp, then lift and roll into the bed, 30 seconds to load, unloading even quicker. Last year went for $650.00. I used his design and built my own version, people say I could sell a lot of them but it would be way too expensive to do again, if I had to pay for materials. :face-icon-small-win

Build your own. I did and it worked great.

Materials -
4 ea 2x8x8foot boards
2 ea 2x12x8foot boards

Actually, 6 foot works too but may be a little steep. You can also get by with 1 middle board for ramp under the track if needed.

Actually, you can get by using 3 boards total if you want, just drive sled up till ski spindles are in a little further than tail gate edge, stop sled, lock brake, then you can pick up each board and slide into your truck with skis still on top, then drive on in. Reverse procedure to unload.

6 board method - Three boards in the truck. Three from tail gate to ground. Attached with gate hinges. With the hinges, I removed the connecting pins and used round bar stock to make removable pins with the ends bent 90 degrees for handles.

You can either thru-bolt the hinges to the wood or use lag screws.

I used pvc pipe on the outside boards for the skis to slide but if did it again I'd use old bedliner plastic.

I can give more details if interested.

similar to last 2. 3 ramps. 2 with bed liner and the 3rd old piece of stock 01 track. 1 sheet of plywood in bed with old bed liner lengths screwed to it.
