Just wondering who all is running the M1000 with SLP's single pipe and silencer, and how they like it? I was checking it out, and thinking of maybe next year investing in that combo with the boondocker box.

I think just about everybody with a 1000 is putting some type of pipe setup on them. I am running the SLP setup with a boondocker box and it is a big improvement over stock. SLP's fit and finish is suppose to be the better then the others from what I have heard.
what year is your 1000? If it a 09 or 10 get the powercomander for your fuel control. And yes it works well and the fit and finish is good major improvement over stock.
Works Awesome. You need the y-pipe to, to get all the power. X2 on the power commander for 09 +
The Power Commander 5 will work from 07 to 10. According to Scarter, Dyno Jet has not updated their web site to include 07 and 08 in model year fitment. From what people have said and what I have read the Power Commander 5 is far superior to the boondocker box, Also cheeper. I have one on order for my `07 1000

Yes, pal put full SLP pipe with BD box to his -09. Now it works as it should have worked from the factory. Really big difference over stock!
