Who is going to run out of gas first?

If your on a long ride in the deep with a 16 Axys 800, a 16 Cat 800, a 12 Cat 800, and 11 Pro 800, Who will be begging for fuel before the others? Based on all riding being equal. None with turbo. Nobody track poaching all day, etc.. Sorry I don't have a Ski Doo in this hypothetical.

Funny you left out Doo. It would have been easy then, in my experience. Have had buddies rent ski-doo over the past several years and they always run out first. Even had to tow one back once.

Otherwise, my guess for the first to run out would be the older Cat, due to weight/hp ratio.

Ive had many different sleds. Im always the one running on fumes. I ride hard. But id say the cat.

We've run a 14 and 15 Pro climb with multiple Pros and now my Axys and the cats are usually a couple gallons worse than our Pros. The Axys seems to be a little worse than the Pros so similar to the cats. We ran a 13 doo and it was bad but partially because you had to burp it to get it full.

I would of said the cat before our last weekend riding without a doubt. We had 3 cats, a pro, and 2 summits in our group. The 2 cats (other rider was a newbie) and the pro were all within a liter of each other at the end of the day. Neither could contend with the summits for mileage

Of course it will be the Cat because the Poo's engine won't last a full tank;) Seriously though, the cat engine is basically 10 years old so you would think the newer motor in a lighter sled would get better mileage. From what I've seen riding my pro climb with my buddies pro's they are pretty close at the end of the day.

I would say the cat, my 11 m8 always seems to burn through more than my friends pros. Although it's not by much.

Yep, Cat for sure. I have 14 and 15 proclimb and everybody I ride with wears Polaris underwear and I'm usually about 2 gallons over the prior Pro RMKs in a 50 mile boondock ride. The Axys is somewhere in between based on experience so far this year. Can't make power out of thin air. I get tired of the Ski Doo claims because my 13 XM burned more fuel than the Pros if you actually rode the thing in challenging conditions with the hammer down.
