Just got back, I've been going a week or two early for the past couple of years. Enjoy the Black Hills so much I bought some land south of Lead last year. The wife and I plan to retire there in 5 years. All you fine SW whores will have a nice place to stay starting in 2013.:face-icon-small-win:beer;:beer;:beer; (We stay at the Bullock in Deadwood when we go.)

Sounds like someone is upset they can't afford a Harley! Wow, that should ruffle some feathers... Anyhow, we are leaving on Monday and are staying at the Big Rig Campground Never stayed there before and will see how it goes. Can't wait for Spearfish Canyon road and Full Throttle!

thats right above were i stay!!

I have gone many times - I never even owned a bike.
Its just a good time!!
Some of the best and biggest bands playing all around town, fun people, camping, hot and half naked girls everywhere and totally naked girls at the Chip.

Unfortunately, the first year that I actually own a motorcycle - I can't go. I may run out there Friday next Friday.... but who knows for sure.

gee i didn't know you needed a harly to go to sturgis! all i have is honda sabre, can i come? o ha one more problem i'm not a methhead or an alcoholic either. what sould i do stay home.

Because everything posted on the internet is serious

Its amazing how few people out there actually have a motorcycle.
It is a motorcycle rally - and there will always be bike owners there. But it is becoming more and more "tourist-y". Last year we had a four door pickup pulling a camper - 6 people - only one guy brought his bike out.

It is just a big party - Any one who says its all just meth-heads and dirty bikers has obviously never been there.

Supplicate, it's great that you have an opinion, but did you really need to high jack this guys thread? He's looking for people going to Sturgis and you are sheeting all over him.

Supplicate,

You know with that photo you are spot on! My Harley rides just as well as a wheel chair and it feels just like a recliner.
Now the problem you have is that because of your lack of education because you are to busy jerking off to the internet is very obvious.(per your qoute of internet masturbation) It is no surprise to me that someone who has spent so much time being critical of an event that attracts people from all over the world is a freakin idiot. Your also right, Harley Davidson is a religon and yes it is marketing and oh by the way it's exactly those two things. So I will give you a point for that, you get it.
Now it also appears that from your screen info that you live in Wyoming??? I really hope that us Sturgis attendee's do not disturb you and and your local economy. You know that we have to buy gas and food and by the way per your statement alcohol (since per your statement earlier that it is a bunch of "alcoholics")we do not visit your town. Thanks for putting me and my family in that class! And oh by the way we are proud alcoholics.:beer;
All I can say is I really hope your sled has stock exhaust! You know that a aftermarket exhaust makes noise. And I really hope that when you ride your sled and after you get done riding that you do not drink! You freakin idiot. There is a point you make about "loud pipes save lives" So let me think what do loud pipes on sleds equal, HMM, oh that was easy, closed riding areas!!
Get over yourself!

hey is that one of those spots with just a patch of mowed grass!!

I cant believe someone could be that worked up about a party where a few hundred thousand people get tother and have a blast, ...btw I own a ratty old sporty and a brand new KTM 690 SM...... and i luv em both.... what does that make me?....dickhead

Needles Highway was recently rechipped in the past month. They sprayed tar over it when done chipping. Should be good by now.
Road construction east from sturgis had traffic cramped on interstate. If they are finished, they pulled down a lot of late nighters.
The scuttle to get bikes around for Sturgis has lifted workload on that side of my dealership. We stocked up on quite a number of tires for traffic coming through. Surprising is the number of calls for sport bike tires for that crowd who are heading to SD for the ralley.
It should be another great time this year ! If you are going, plan to take in some of the events in advance. Just riding in and getting caught in traffic not knowing what is happening around town, can be boring and give you a sour outlook on the event.
We are taking our low horsepowered HARLEY down for one of the weekends once we break away from the shop.
Yep Suplicate, I am retarded... top 30 Honda tech in the nation, own my own bike/race car shop and prefer to ride the Harley. Although you find us building and riding performance dirt bikes, sport bikes, quads, sprint cars etc... Our Harley has given us the best seasons ever. We nail down on a average of 48.7 mpg with the custom bagger, where gold wings etc.. can only pin down 33-35 mpg. YEP after 2 decades of being in the powersports industry... I'm retarded because preference going down the highway is the Harley. Even though you posted like a imature imbreader... we still luv ya. Got a chuckle out of reading the posts....
Keep wacking the talley my friend... hehehe

Give me a freakin break. The only good thing about harley is how awesome their marketing department is and how brainwashed their religious following is.- come on now that was funny.

Someday i will ride a jap bike to sturgis...just hope the big bad Outlaw clubs don't beat me up;)

We were though there a few weeks back and found a lot of loose gravel in some corners. BE CAREFUL!
We're riding up Friday for the openning weekend.

Already here, staying in my home (as my renters canceled), can't wait to see Kiss and Kenny Chesney. Sldgy what happened to my beer? The last of the construction in the area just wrapped up.
