Who is a good snowester to rebuild and balence a clutch

how many miles

I hear you can put in new weights, but at about 4000 miles they say to just buy a new one.If you rebuild they have possiblity on exploding.I know arctic cat does not rebuild because of this or sell stock parts.

Both of our m-7 clutches cracked with-in a week of each other. RV sports had the m7 clutch for 350 I think. If you get many miles on them that is the best way to go.....also check your spider for cracks...One m had 4200 miles and I replaced the spider on it and the sheaves cracked...the other one exploded the spider...dang kids are hard on sleds......Garry

I bought a 06-m7 from a guy who had the crank break off at the clutch. He put a whole new bottom end but kept the old clutch. I assume this was from a hard belt blow.

I thought it should be at least balenced and probably rebuilt by next season.

it has 1500ish miles

crank

Never heard of a crank breaking off at clutch on m7.Are you sure there was not some other problem.1500 miles on the clutch is nothing, it should go another 1500 easy, just keep it clean.Mine is pushing 4000 now.........:D will be replacing whole thing next season..
