Who has SLP twin pipes that work?

My buddy bought some SLP twins for his M7, we are having trouble figuring them out, it runs like a raped ape 7 out of 10 times. The other 3 times it his 7200 or 7300 rpms and its like it hits a brick wall and wont rev up any higher. anyone have any ideas? we are leaving for togwotee in 6 days and would like this thing figured out. Any help would be appreciated!

I had the same thing with mine. Ended up pulling a bunch of fuel to get rid of the bog. Check your wash before you pull fuel and as you're pulling it. It's easy to get carried away.

I think I ended up around pulling fuel from the step before the PV opening too.

In the end it was easier to put the stock single back on.

Does he have egt's? The twins have a hard time holding heat. Once you get them hot it will scream like a raped ape! What year m-7 is it? The ecu mapping has a-lot to do with it also. Early sevens were real rich in the middle, etc... They also have a warm up cycle for the first seven minutes after u fire them up. So u nead to get them hot. Ive had twin slps on my M since day 1,and Ill be honest they can be finicky. In the end you nead to pull fuel from the top. But be careful. PM me if you have anymore questions?
