Who has a shop manual? Replacing crank seal on 2007 600 ho sdi

I have a slobbery crank seal on my lil 6 hundy. (2007 600 ho sdi summit) I am replacing the seal so I took the screws out that holds the seal plate on. There was no loc-tite on them but they were so fricken tight I stripped the head on one out. Does some one have a repair manual that can tell me if I need to loc-tite these screws when I go back together or is there a torque? Also if there is any kind of sealer that needs to be applied to the outer seal when installing. Now all I have to do is find one of those special screws to replace the one I ***ged up! Maybe I'll buy two!! Thanks to all!

Yes you need to apply some grease to the seal before you install it. I used a lubriplate brand that was very thin. I would apply blue loctite to the retainer screws I dont think there is a torque. If you ever have to remove them again just apply a little heat and they should come out. Did you dissasemble the case? If so you need to use dri bond to seal the cases back together.

Thanks AK! Na, I didn't split the cases. Is that seal a mo fo to put in without splitting the cases? Thks for the info!

The proper way to put that seal in is split the cases. Also those screws strip all the time, heat on them is always good when removing. Also if you do split the cases, dri-bond is old stuff. They use a black coloured loctite sealant now. I can't remember the number of hand.
