Who else hates the NY yankees?

F the yankers

What he said...I hated them when I was in diapers!

Ive been a Braves fan for 25 years, so i HATE the yankees. They used to be our arch rivals.

Damn why do you have to be a Braves fan! I have been a fan since the days of Chris Chambliss, Bob Horner, Gene Garber, Pasqual Perez, Dale Murphy, etc. Dale Murphy is the man! MVP 82 and 83! Numerous Gold Gloves and All Star games. Pisses me off the Yanks beat the Braves in what 3 damn World Series! UUUGH! Then the damn Twins beat them in 91 because f*cking Lonnie Smith fell for a fake throw to second....then in extra innings Puckett hit one out to win the World Series! I was sick! But that was one hell of a series....7th game, extra innings....wow.

Yeah, Dale Murphy was my favorite too when i was like 6. I remember Deon James, and Deon Sanders, Dave Justice, John Rocker, Steve Avery, Smoltz, Galvine, Chipper, Andrew,

I posted something very similar to this on another board yesterday. I'm not a yankee fan AT ALL. But I do respect the Steinbrenners for using their money to put the best product on the field for the fans.

I'm an Oakland Athletics fan so this is kind of a raw subject for me. They're basically a feeder team for every big market team. They develop prospects into solid players (most of the time Bobby Crosby not withstanding) and then refuse to pay them, so they ship them off for more prospects (see: Mark Mulder, Tim Hudson, Danny Haren, and Matt Holliday trades). Which then starts the cycle all over again.
Sounds about like the Twins, never been a huge baseball fan but pay a little attention to the Twinkies. Keep finding awesome talent developing them and then watching them go off to the big money teams.

Imagine what the game would look like today if Caps were in place. The league would be much more competitive and I think you'd see a lot more team focus than the individual prima-donnas with inflated egos to go with their inflated salary.

I saw a list of how much money each owner puts back into their team, don't remember where. After seeing that list it's obvious why certain teams are contenders every year and certain teams are for the most part annual losers.

Some owners are hording the money for themselves while other teams, like the Yankees are putting the money back into the team.

You leave the Pohlads out of this.
