My buddy just bought a 05 900 and were trying to find out if the updates were done and if the 06 pistons are in it? Can someone run a VIN for me?

My dealer says they are all done, and there was a load of dealer sticker on the airbox, but they wouldn't let me have a copy...why?
I have no clue but any dealer can look up a sled vin and see whats been done to it...what would happen if you did a cross country trip to ride and your warranty covered sled had a problem? the dealer where you are needs to be able to know exactly what has and hasnt been done to it...
There is no bulletin for the pistons, the only way that might show on the dealer website is if the engine had a failure and the pistons were replaced under warranty.

You know I have never really checked my Vin number. When I bought the sled my dealer said everything was done and up to date but now I really don't trust my dealer. I'm kinda scared to see if anything was actually done. I know my dealer won't run the vin for me.

take your sled to a different dealer! any dealer worth a **** will run your vin n tell you if anythin has been done if some thin hasnt been done they should bee happy to do them because they get paid by polaris to do them polaris pays for the parts then pays the dealer for the time to do them
