I want to try out a Rekluse and see how they work on the Horse. Man, that's a sweet bike you just picked up! Going to have some serious fun this winter.

I bought the KTM at Holeshot in Langley BC, and the Mountain Horse at Revolution in Whistler. In fact my cousin and I both got the same 2012 KTM set-ups so there will be 2 of us. Felix at Revolution is becoming a Timbersled dealer in Whistler so we ordered through him. He's done tons of work to our Snowhawks and is a dirtbike/ATV/snowmobile shop so it was logical that he becomes a mountain Horse dealer.

It's an 07 but going to run a larger battery that will be mounted on the frame of the kit so I will have more cranking juice to spring it into life and can have some heat to the hands and a$$. As for my exhaust, havent decided if I'm going to run factory or akrapovic either way it should work. The other challenges I'm looking at is I think I'm eliminating radiators to run a ucooler and getting the air picked up even higher then factory with twin filters and outerwear on them hopefully sitting at the tank fill area. Time will tell

Two of my friends want to buy kits from Timbersled but the distributor said they won't be available until March or April of 2012. When did you guys order your kits? BTW Both have 2010 KTMs. We are in Washington.

Timbersled is sold out of current manufacturing capacity until that time. The people who are taking delivery on current products most likely put a deposit down earlier this year. I put my snow-check down about 2 months ago and I just took delivery on mine last week. The demand for these kits are extremely high. Timbersled expected there to be a nice demand, but this is really off the charts.

Interesting little story I heard. Demand is so high that Allen can't even get a kit for himself right now. Pretty cool when you have a product that is such a hit that you can't even get one yourself... and you own the place!

My advice: put down a deposit now. Lots of people are currently sitting on the fence because they simply have not ridden one. Dealership demos, more people going out to Sandpoint, friends riding each others kits.... I don't even think we've begun to see the Mountain Horse "explosion" yet. I bet many more people will be buying this season than anyone predicts. These kits will extend your season dramatically.... plenty of riding left after March!

One thing to note: "manufacturing capacity" doesn't just mean how many Timbersled can make. It also refers to their supply status as well. I would be willing to bet that their suppliers can't send them enough equipment either.
