White powder on side of cylinder?

Just wondering what would cause this to happen?? Is this coolant leaking out?

can be coolant evaporated or salt/corosion seen it many times

semi-corrosive. I would suspect coolant or brake fluid. Most likely coolant though.

looks like someone sprayed it down with something when it was hot.you got to watch that you dont cover your sled when it hot either as it can do that too.look like coolant .

Do you live near the ocean? That looks a lot like salt water corrosion to me...

Not sure I am use to seeing regular coolant leaking doing that to a motor...

I over-filled mine last year while bleeding and thats how it looked.

ok so no ocean here....so this must be coolant...its on mostly the PTO side...so maybe an o ring that isnt sealing properly??

Sled stored in a moist area, such as an enclosed trailer without proper ventilation? That's my guess....

ya that would be it...nothing to worry about i guess will clena it up while i have it apart
