White Pickup stuck on trail. What happened?

We were headed back down the mountain Sunday, Jan. 3 and were just about back to Greenrock and come around the last corner of the trail just before Snowy Mountain Lodge and here is a pickup that was stuck in the middle of the road/trail/ whatever you want to call it this time of year. They went around the road closure and were headed up the mountain. Was just wondering how or if they had gotten it out. There were about 6 guys there and no one was dressed for the cold. Could not beleive what I was seeing!

We ran into that truck as well. Everyone was outside the truck trying to dig it out. Couldn't have been fun getting it back to the road. Ran into a similar situation a few years ago with a Suburban, but they had to be 5+ miles up the trail from The Place. Found them walking down the trail so we stopped and gave them a ride.

Every year a few try to head down the Turpin Meadow trail from the bottom lot at Togwotee. Not sure how anyone could think it is a road.

there was a vehicle stuck there last year also. probably college kids trying to see how far their 4x4 could go. lol.

Someone does it every year up there. Usually the same people that are trying to shut the trails down. Shows what kind of brains these people have. But i guess i should give em a break, They were prolly just STONED!!!!!!!

I wonder if this yahoo was related to the the genius with the motorhome that decided the middle of the turn around was his new favorite camp spot. Next time maybe the motorhome genius from IOWA will take into consideration that there are actually other people their besides him! I watched the trailer in front of me start sliding into the ditch to get around Einstein.

Somebody should of got that plate off the suburban cause it was a Wyoming plate pretty sure the bronco that sat there half the winter last year was a Wyoming plate to Im seeing a pattern here So easy on the Iowa guys...seems they at least know to keep it in the parking lot, but was no doubt a bonehead move. Truth is bout that it pizzed me off to that they pulled the rig right in the middle but after I reflected on it they were out of the way and were not hurting anybody. Just prolly made us all mad cause we didnt think of it.

I was mad at this parking situation as well. I even took pictures of the trailer plates behind the RV and the pick up parked in front. I couldn't believe that they had the balls to do it. After we unloaded 3/4 mile down the hill and road up that way their was 2 more rigs parked there, with WY plates. What a great way to get our own riding and parking areas closed. Bone Heads!!!

The burban doesn't have plates. And do I really need to google pictures of farmers from that flat land missing arms because of their genuisness. Come on guys lets play nice lol. Afterall you do come out here to use our snow bahaha
