White Mountains in Montana this Morning

Old man winter is on his way, got to love white mountains in August!

We had Jack Frost on a visit last night...had to scrape him of the car this morning.

It's 18 degrees in central mountains of colorado this morning, at 7:00AM!

NICE! I better get those sleds fixed winter is around the corner.

The weather report on the tv tonite said snow possible at 6500 feet with 4 inches possible at 8000 feet...

I've been watching for a break in the clouds all day today...hoping to peek at white peaks on the Bitterroots....no such luck yet. Get of up 59° so far today.

Lost Trail and Lookout webcams snow NO snow.

Copper Creek is showing an inch...and at 39°, it could be true.

HooDoo showed some during the night last night too when it was around 35°.

Snow on the Bitterroots tonight. Sweeny, Bass, St Marys and Lolo Peaks all have a dusting.

I can hardly wait till the skies clear so I can see if our mountains west of here got snow.Today in Calgary we had a high of 44 degrees...

Just caught a glimpse of N. Putnam in SE Idaho. Very visible snow line at about 8500'. 51 degrees at 9:00 a.m. in the valley. Does this count as the last snow of last season or the first snow for this season?? Either way, global warming has not affected our area for more than about 2 weeks the entire summer Gotta love it

2 mountain snows in August... humm this doesn't seem normal but i'll take it. I am hoping for a good year.

2 inches of snow on the ground at the base of the challenger lift this morning at Big Sky. Only 33 degrees too.
