Looking at the long range forecast for our area.

Bad News - Does not look like a White Christmas for the Wasatch Front this year, unless you live above 7,000 Feet. (6,000 Feet in the Logan area, and 8,000 Feet in Central/Southern Utah)

Good News - It will be snowing like a bugger above that elevation for most of next week into the week after Christmas.

Merry Christmas

......SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 5 TO 10 FEET ABOVE 7000 FEET FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

Yeah in California, But if we get half that in Utah it would be AWESOME!!!!!!

fixed.....

Thanks for fixing that. No one helped me get out of the drive way though. That's what I get for making fun of him. :face-icon-small-blu He was long gone to work while I got stuck and had to run by foot with the kids to the bus stop. To be honest I was excited about getting stuck in the driveway. :humble: I got to dig myself out. It was great!!! :face-icon-small-win

WOW! like clockwork so far, 4-7" of water in the mtns so far and they are calling for that much more by Thursday in most of the areas we care about, sledding areas. Just hope you ride above 7000-8000 Feet cause if not it looks to be pretty messy. This could end up being the biggest storm in many many years.:face-icon-small-coo

Central and Southern Mtns:

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: WIDESPREAD STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS FOR
THIS LONG DURATION EVENT WILL RANGE BETWEEN 4 AND 7 FEET...
WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO 10 FEET POSSIBLE ABOVE 10000 FEET
NEAR BRIAN HEAD AND CEDAR BREAKS.

2-7 feet here up north.....I would like to know if we have ever had a storm this big since 1982...anyone?

Looks like a few of you will be having a White Christmas after all, as long as it doesn't rain too much today.
