Anyone been up brandywine lately??? looking to go up this weekend, PLEASE say there is snow!!!!

I heard you can cross the creeks in Metaldome and work your way up through the rocks to the alpine but I read on here that some guys rode there last weekend and still lots of open crevasses and rocks. Apparently lots of carnage.

I would try Brohm Ridge if I were you. Falling in a crevasse is no fun. I fell into a 70 foot one a few years ago and am a very careful now when riding in early or late sledding season.

We are all chomping at the bit man! This is the latest ever without snow.

i posted on the coq webiste that i would meet up there at 8am saturday morning but today after looking at the road cam im not so sure, the road looks wet and in the background there does not look like as much snow as i thought would have come down, do you know your way around brohm ridge? ive never been there before but that looks like a better option then the coq, i think at this point there is only myself and one other guy, are you thinking saturday? thats prolly when we would go, if i hear more negative about brohm ridge we might just load up and leave at 4am and drive to blue lake near sicamous or possibly just drive to revy, were not sure yet tho....keep me posted what you are going to do

i need to ride this weekend!! this is ridiculous

that doesnt look like all the great

The webcam is stuck on November the 8th. There has been guys riding there but snow levels are very low. There are some big rocks in both the little and big bowls but if you stay in the lower meadows you should be fine. At least you will be riding. I will most likely head up there on Sunday.

i also just want to ride haha...sicamous is about 4.5hrs abit more from my place with good roads, and crowfoot is about 4 hrs, from what i have read on the crowfoot area conditions sound good and that they have got snow this week so its sounding good, there was some pics on the sicamous page from quest which is on the north side of the highway and it looked great...blue lake is on the south side of the highway and it should have just as much or more, i was thinking of leaving early saturday morning and goin for the day...but would not be opposed to staying overnight and riding sunday as well...i think right now its just myself and a buddy with a deck on my truck, but if we could rig up a trailer setup and have 4 guys in one truck that would be even better,

ill keep you posted

Norona rode Brohm yesterday (Thursday) and says stay away. Unloading where the road splits to go the lower meadows through the back way or to continue up cat lake road which is about 9-10 KM up the road. Lots of rocks. Here are a couple of pics from some the highest points on Brohm. Not worth it for me unless we get pounded with snow today and tonight.

Looks pretty good to me! I would assume with the way it is slush(raining) in Vancouver today. Brohm must have got at least a foot of fresh.

i'm thinking of heading up there tomorrow. Karen doesn't know that yet. Don't know what to do we got spoiled at Revy Thanksgiving.

I just came down from brandywine. We parked just below the first switchback and the snow was deep enough to get up the road without hitting to many rocks.

If you know the area and are itching to get out on your sled go for it it will be fun.. If your looking to go for a good rip head to revy. We tried to get to chocolate bowl but the road was blocked with a tree. After the cabin heading to the main bowl there were many open rainbars. As the snow gets deeper they will be an issue. For now no worries. Up in the meadows there are lots of open creeks. Pay attention and bring a shovel.

I had a lot of fun as a first ride of the season, I was pushing snow with my bumper while avoiding rocks and stumps...

there was still heavy snow coming down at 5:00pm tonight. and a few sleds were heading up form the parking lot when we left.

these are the meadows, you can go another 1000' up Brohm. did Narona make it to big bowl?

Yes we made it to the top of Big bowl but did not go down because of so little snow. I was going to go up past big bowl to see how the skiing might be but there was no way i would even ski up there. The first photo is of the first bottom bowl you drop into. The second one is the big open flat area just before going up to big bowl. Believe me I want to sled and for sure go see for your self but I am not going until it snows like it did yesterday for at least 3 or 4 more days. Be careful as there are a ton of rocks just under the surface that are just buried by this last snow fall we had...cheer dave
