Which track for 1100? 3 inch or 2.6 powerclaw

Just my opinion...

I installed a 3" with 7tooth drivers mid season last year on my M1100T. Long story short, I wouldn't do it again, the 2.6 is really that good. The lugs on the 3" took a set within two rides in VERY good snow conditions, and I've found it to be faster on downhills then it was originally. You need to keep your speed down with the 3" on trails, or it will overheat & start to toss lugs... even with the scratchers down. Don't get me wrong, the 3" is a great track, but the 2.6 isn't far behind IMHO.

The 3" really cant be beat in deep snow. If it is a 13' or a 14' that comes with the 2.6, there are other places I would spend my sled money first. If its a 12' with the 2.25 lug, you will benefit greatly with a track upgrade.
