Which suspension??

Have a 2010 TD8. I also have a Holz suspension in a box from my 08 D8. Do you think it is worth my time to throw the holz under there or should i see if i can sell it and just run the stocker for now?

I believe the Holz coil-over was and is a great suspension, however you will notice they have really lost popularity due to them not controlling transfer as well as newer designs. I think they are better on naturally aspirated machines. What shocks do you have with it? How much you want for the kit?

stock suspension does not work with a turbo at all! ruinded 2 tunnels wheely'n over backwards in climbs with the stock skid.

just my 2 cents, but if you could sell that holtz and get a coupled rear skid from timbersled or KMod i think you'd have better luck keeping the front where you want it with that turbo. Holtz has great adjustment, but a coupled rear will keep you moving up without moving up and over.

I got the suspension directly from holz 3 years ago. ordered the zero pros to be set up for my weight. got it all put together and felt that it sagged too much and felt too soft. should i send the shocks in to carl's to get them valved for my weight and ride style? dont want to dump a whole lot of cash into it, in case i would update in the next year or so :)

From experience... the Pre-Alpha Holz did not work well under boost...even with the additional over transfer shock on it.

The new design ALPHA-X does much better with boost than your model... important not to get the two mixed up when talking about them

I really like the Timbersled skids, they work very well at controlling ski lift, putting you on top of the snow and keeping you in control as you encounter terrain while climbing with the turbo power.

Very good boondocker and very adjustable.

With the "Fit kit" for the stock rails... you can keep the cost down and re-use your stock rails. (looks good too)

Here are the links to my Timbesled install into my RMK (with pics)
