What's wrong with your stock ones?

The stockers are the same as the rush there 6" wide and designed for trail use

I have the money and want better flotation and sidehilling since I'll already be the shortest track out there.

the slp straight line trackers don't get the notice of some of the other powder skiis, but for an all around do everything well ski, they're hard to beat....the problem with many of the others is that they work well in deep, soft powder, but are a real pain in the rear (and sometimes almost dangerous) when the snow is wind blown, rutted or crusted...they become too aggressive and it's easy to get tossed on your head at an inopportune time...have a nice ride out west...

All four are good choices, Personal favorites SLP powder Pros and Grippers. Both are trail safe. (At reasonable speeds) :face-icon-small-coo

I used to have a 2006 Switchback with a 2" Camo Challenger which I installed the SLP Powder Pros. They were super in the POW and on the trails. I almost put them on my 12 Pro 800 but did not see the need with the Grippers, they are good too. I don't think you would go wrong with either.

I have a riding partner who has the Sly Dogs on his 12 Switchback Assault 800 with the 2" paddle and he really likes them. This is the second set of Sly Dogs he has put on a sled if that says anything.

my .02 cents.

Oh right on, I don't know a lot about the assault and assumed they were wider. My bad

Powder Pro's are good in the deep powder but once you get back home in midwest and start ditch banging and what not, they suck. They start to dive and walk and its like a death wobble. Got MTX's not and love em.

The SlyDog PowderHounds in the 8" are a great ski... I've had 5 sets of the SD skis with great luck...They have evolved the design a bit since first released and they do not push like they used to thru the turns... I run all mine with the 6" Stud-Boy Shaper carbides..

Excellent flotation and the turning performance.

If you have not had a recent pair of SD skis... they have evolved the design significantly since first release.
