which ski's?

Dual Keel versus Single Keel Skis

which skis are better simmons or powder pros

Two completly different skis.

I don't own the PP but I do own a pair of Simmons and a pair of Slydog Powderhounds. If you looked at my sled right now you would see the Slydogs mounted on it, and the Simmons leaning up in the corner of my garage collecting dust.

I know a lot of people love the Simmons skis, I'm just not one of them. The Simmons IMO are great trail skis and there is nothing more stable on the trail. On the other hand the Slydogs are not as stable on the trail, but off trail and in the powder, I like em way better then the Simmons.

I have heard good things about MODs, and would love to try a set of those on my Rev. :D

I foun a few years back when we had some conditions where an icy crust formed on top of the snow, the PP's were a terrible ski in those conditions...25 mph across a field with a death grip because you never knew which way the sled would want to go. They were a decent ski in everyting but those conditions, but with the weight on the front end of the Rev or XP, they took a fair amount of muscle to turn. I'm going by what I experienced on 121''s-144's, longer tracks could respond differently.
I use Simmons on all of our machies, but I have heard some veyr good things about the MODS too. :)
