Which skis are working best on the XPs

Ok, I got a blue and white XP 154 on the way. I've heard that the stock skis don't work very well and am wondering what skis people have been having the most luck with. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The stockers are ok, I added a second carbide to make it turn on the trail corners better. This setup worked well for me most of the season but when the snow became set and not alot of pow I wasnt able to carve as well so I put on a set of the slydogs and It now carves better and still turns corners on the trail as if on rails. Im keeping the slydogs, but was seriously considering the powder pro's also when purchacing. The key to the slydogs is the single center keel.

I would agree the stockers are a good all-around ski. And if you ride alot of roads the stockers with the dual carbide settup work real good to eliminate darting and hold real tight in the corners.

The SLP PP's are great in the powder. They are awesome. On the trail or on set up snow they are pretty aggressive (Hard to trun) when going slow. Want to try out the C&A razors

i was thinking the same thing i have a blue and white on the way too and have had simmons for the last 8 yrs on 2 diff sleds. don't if i want to spend 400 more on another set to match

6.9 pilots are alot better on the XP than the Rev. An outside carbide would probably even be a better improvement. But I still went with Simmons Gen 1 and they are very nice. I will doo the same on my 09 also.

Simmons

I had simmons skies on my summit x. I loved them. I am a smaller guy so they made my xp even easier to pull over. I absolutly love the cobination. I see, I go. They don't float quite as well as the stock but they don't push through the corners on the trail.
Hands down perfect cobination for a small guy like me.

I am going to get a set of simmons for my '08. I bent my S-module when I just caught the edge of a rock while side hilling. I'm almost positive that if had simmons on they would have absorbed a lot more of the energy by that not very hard hit. I know that I hit things way harder with my ZX and never bent anything after I put simmons on. I like them on the trails better also.

Was riding a few weeks ago with some of the guys that make films. They are using the stock Pilot ski's on their XP's. One said he had tried others and came back to the Pilot.

I've used Simmons and SLP Powder Pro's on my Rev 159 and think each has its specific place. Riding a friends 159 with the Pilots I'd say it's a better all around ski.. good powder performance and not too aggressive on the trail or spring snow.

The PP's will grab so hard this time of year you can roll even a big sled over the outside ski on a downhill turn..

I have a set of C&A razors on my XP gadeX and love them, also had a set of razor's on my REV and after putting 4200 miles on that sled I bought a set for my XP!!:)

I've tried some slp's and the slydogs. Dont think either is that much better than the 6.9's. The only reason I like my slydogs better is the graphics look cool.
