So, are you saying the 80 duro will perform better in the powder? Or are you saying the 80 duro is equal to the 85 duro in soft powder conditions but the 85 will outperform the 80 duro in more set-up snow?

For a turbo sled, especially if you're running higher boost, I'd get the 85. Lugs are a tiny bit stiffer and won't fold as much a high track speed.

The basic rule of thumb is, that softer compound rubber will work better in powder than on harder or wet/heavy snow. Paddle design is part of the equation also.
Softer rubber has a tendency to compress and lift in powder, where as the firmer compound stiffer paddles will tear the snow, and not work as well in powder but very grippy in firm or heavy wet snow.

Best thing to help with the decision, is to decide what snow conditions you ride in most of the time. Then choose the compound based on that.
