Which nitrous system

:oLooking to put a nitrous system on a Polaris 800 (carb). I don't know much about any system. What should I look for, brand, how large of a shot, and what's the difference between wet and dry? Any help or advice would be great.
:beer;

wet system uses a fogger nozzel http://store.summitracing.com/partd...rt=NOS-13700NOS&N=700+400047+115&autoview=sku one fitting has a nos jet and the other has a fuel jet, the nozzle mounts between the carb and the reeds. holley.com has the chart to show what jets to run for the hp desired. you can also get all components through summit racing.
I like the wet setup my self, if you are a chicken like i am, you can run a little more fuel so when you hit the buttom your egts will drop a little.
you need a small battery, rectifier off a sled with electric start to convert a wire to 12 volts dc to charge battery. you can also try another pulse operated pump. you need to premix gas in your tank. or get a small tank of race gas mixed with gas to plumb the fuel pump to. there are 2 solenoids. one for fuel and one for nos.

on efi sleds you can run the fogger setups because you get the control boxes like a car, when you hit the button it jumps the fuel delivery automatically.

starting out a 10-12 hp per cylinder is a pretty safe setup. for 1000-2000 foot ice runs guy are running up to 150 hp shots.

I would go with Boondockers N2o, or Boss Noss N2o. I have read/heard a lot of great things about those two companies.

Wet systems are great for high HP or racing they work good but lots of plumbing and lines everywere.

Boss and BD systems are simple are easy to use.

Go with the boondockers. Everything fits. Easy to install and Boss sucks to deal with. My Boondockers has worked flawless. All of my buddies with Boss have had problems.
We bought a Boss charging station and it quit after a year or less. They were no help getting it fixed. The boondockers charging station is more expensive but worth it. Their customer service is better by a mile.

BD

I have a boondockers system and I like it. It's simple, easy to install and I haven't had any problems.

Get it right the first time....go with Boondockers and a Synergy regulator. I would not bother with the adjustable Synergy regulator, just get the fixed one. I have the adjustable one and it works great, but if you are the type of guy that wants to run N2O, you'll just max it out so there is no need to have an adjustable one!

40 hp shot will give you about a 400 rpm increase....spray much more and you'll have to clutch for it. The BD filling station will fill any bottle with a 4an outlet, which is pretty standard in the snowmobile industry as far as nitrous goes...

BD kit is adjustable from 35-50 hp, way easy to tune, and easy to install...
