I really like the GoPro Hero HD. It is a little pricy but picture and sound cannot be beat.

Get a hold of Zachcreek for the vholdr 1080p HD at a very good price! :face-icon-small-hap

$250 for any used pov cam is too much. Did I read that right?

My ContourHD 1080p is great. I run it at 720p @ 60fps. I can't get the 1080p footage to play smooth. Just be ready to deal with QuickTime .mov files, PITA.

if you aren't in a rush keep an eye on amazon, they run sales on the contour HD fairly often. 250 used is way too much $. don't waste your money on the cheap ones, they aren't even close. and Vholdr just came out with a new contour with gps built into it so you always know where all your videos were taken, altitude, etc. it also has still shot capability, and a few other improvements but I can't remember them.

I really like the V-Holder. Easy to use and a great picture. And one of the things I really like about it is you don't have to take your helmet off to check the status of the camera. It has a huge slider type on and off switch and you can hear the beep signal with your helmet on and your sled running >>>>.
