Which helix for M1000

I'm thinking of trying a 42/36 helix on my stock (other than can) 09 M1000. I ride at 6,000 - 10,000. Will a stock M1000 pull this helix or should I try the 40/36???

i run a 44-34 in stockish 09m1000, works well

its going to be close between 40 and 42 on which one works better, 6-8 I'd go 42 9-10,000ft id run a 40
