Which Decals increase Power and handling ?

Thread Rating
5.00 star(s)
I think we are getting close ...

a lightwieght ported scratch and sniff decal with extra venting with a hint of billet titanium craftmanship.

Should the venting be black or white?

White is all colors and reflects heat and black is no color and absorbs heat. Hmmm ... decisions.

On this scratch and sniff ... What should the smell be?

I was thinking two cycle synthetic exhaust with a tint of castor bean and a touch of burnt belt.

You know that smell after a long pull when you stop ontop of the hill turn around and marvel at the accomplishment.

dont forget it needs to be polished, everybody knows that the shinier something is the fast it goes. something to do with wind resistance i believe....:beer;

Decal alignment is worth a couple of ponies over a sled running misaligned decals........alot of people forget to check this before completing their decal installation.:D:D:beer;

just how much are these stickers gonna reduce weight by? I won't buy any unless its at least 4 to 5 pounds worth of shaving... the stickers i run right now shave 2 to 3 instantly once applied.

Guys, guys, guys... I think we have overlooked another important thing to these lightweight, ported, cnc machined, vented, properly placed decals... one word... AERODYNAMIC!!! Reducing wind resistance as you are rushing up the mountain can make or break the hymark. So I'm thinking maybe in the shape of a spoiler like you see on the honda civics around town that have the noisy exhaust and never get out of first gear because it's louder to stay in low gear, and therefore so, so cool.

and if you do buy the tricked decal, make absolutely sure, that they have been wind tunnel tested. or it will cost you track speed.

When applying said decal you must remember to locate it in such a way that it does not interfere with your ability to countersteer in the deep.

Also, make sure it is of a material which will add boost at idle.

i still think a spoiler like on a honda sitting on the nose would be best, keeps the sled from flipping over making those super huge pulls.

but when someboyd gets some of these stickers up and running without head pipe can timiing key and no fuel controler, let me know

oh ya, this would prolly be especialy beneficial on the big turbo sleds to help keep the skis down.
