My dealer is giving me $650 worth of BRP accessories.. think i'll go with

  • Prefilter grill kit .. $114.99
  • Full body skid plate .. $134.99
  • LinQ Jerry can .. $124.99
  • Temp Gauge module .. $114.99
  • Spare belt .. $184.99

Gonna see if i can use my Rev cover on the XM .. the new covers are so damn pricey!!

Was also contemplating a heavy duty rear bumper (to make the tunnel stronger for carrying gas / skis)
Some oil
Maybe some of those vent kits

While I was there I tried to claim the floor model by hanging my helmet on it .. no dice :(

So far i have a cover, skid plate, and pre-filter kit. Next will be Aux LED, glovebox extension and temp module. Hoping my sled will be here soon so i can get all these goodies on in time for snow!!!

Someone tried the auxilary LED-lights allready? Looks like a 50-50 good buy. Either good or useless. Expensive too. Any thoughts?

Another question. Do I need to buy the quick disconnect sway bar thing for my summit XM? Had it on my 09' 800 Summit, and liked it. I run mixed powder and tracks.

Any idea on if the Quick Clickers and clutch puller are the same as the 800R/XP used?

Thanks,

hanging out in a tree well at the top.
Thanks for the info on the Quick Clickers Husqvarna, I appreciate it!

Can anyone confirm/deny wether the clutch pulled is the same or different between the E-Tec and P-Tec engines?

Thanks,
-John

the 800r is 3 1/2 inch from the bottom of the bolt head to the threads with a 1 inch shoulder with 1 5/16 of threads then 2 1/4 shank.
800 etec is 3 3/4 from bottom of bolt head to threads with a 1 13/16 shoulder . 1 1/2 threads with a 1 11/16 shank.

I've had 3 Xs and only 1 had a functional temp gauge when I picked it up. I had to put a module in the others. You can snocheck it with it. Or buy it later.

I'm not following your response xpspenziv.... are you saying that you picked up 3 XM X's and only 1 of them had a functioning temp. gauge? Also, are you saying that having a temp. gauge was something that needed to checked on the order sheet back in the spring when the sleds were ordered? I don't remember seeing that as an option...?

Thanks,
-Jhn
