Which ABS bag to get

I have heard rumor of BCA coming out with a new pack for 09-10 season
$600 maby less!!

abs all the way. i love the way mine fits. we have a bud that has the snow pulse. it's big and bulky hangs to your ***. one of the latest avy vics had the snow pulse and it was poped when he was found died of trauma. that whats nice about abs 2 bags incase one should pop

i have had an escape 30 and now i have a vario with the 15lt and 22lt. i like the way the escape models open up, if you work out of your pack for lunch and water and stuff its nice, i like the 22lt it opens a bit better that the 15 the 15 is a top load the 22 has a longer zipper and opens more i also like the couple of pockets on the outside of the 22 . the best is look at both styles i found the 30 to big you could care to much stuff, hope the advice helps abit

I have the ABS vario with the 22L, and it is great. have room for all my crap and it is comfortable.

I did a lot of research before I bought one, here is what I found;

-the ABS has 2 bags in the event of a pop.
-the snowpulse would be very dificult to continue riding when inflated. (tyring to out run an avy)
-the ABS has an excelent 20yr track record. (98% survival I believe)
-the ABS vario is versatile as you can change pack sizes. (10L - 60L)
-the snowpulse has been reported to misfire. (only .5% aparently, but do you want to take the chance?)
-the snowpulse is way cheaper to refill. (doesn't really matter, what's your life worth?)
-the ABS has a hard plastic handle, the snowpulse has a strap loop. (strap might be hard to find in an emergency)
-the snowpulse handle doesn't come off for storage. (no forgeting handle at home)
