Where's everyone riding this weekend?

I am trying to go to Council Mountain this weekend. Does anybody know what the snow is like? I've got conflicting answers so I don't know what to think.

I don't know where to go. This sucks, it's January we should be able to go anywhere. Think I might go Tuesday if more snow falls. Wait and see what the weekend crowd says.

Hey Ryan, let us know how Council Mtn. is. Never been there, but always wanted to try it. I rode with your brother last week. Not sure if he told you, but his track was face up a couple times. You need to get him a taller riser for that thing.

Hey thats funny you said that he only mentioned one incident. Ha Ha. Screw putting a new riser on it I need to convince him to get rid of that TURD and get an M-series. I tried riding his the other weekend and lasted two climbs before I gave back.

Are you planning on riding Sunday? If not I will let you know how it is and we need to go riding before the season is over.

Hello
Leaving Bend Sunday riding McCall monday thru? then off to Stanley for a few days.
Thinking about riding the hills behind Burgdorf, because it looks like you have not that much new snow. Lets hope for a big dump this weekend!

DRMiller100 are you still around? Still grooming?

Snowed a little this afternoon/evening. Maybe an inch or two. Everything is tracked up and hard. You're going to have to hunt hard to find something that hasn't been tracked up. Been above Brundage Res., Slab Butte, above Goose Lake and on Council Mtn. Everything close has been hit and hit hard. Rode this last week with a great bunch of guys from Yakima and what fresh stuff we could fine we cut it up bad. So, with that being said, if you can find some untracked snow, GO FOR IT!! If it snows 6 inches or so I'll go riding tomorrow, otherwise I'll give the sled a rest.

I'm thinking the same thing, 1" isn't going to cut it.

Would be interested in a report tomarrow evening on how much new and what conditions are like.

Thanks,
MX

Went up behind brundage and actually found some areas of un tracked powder. It wasn't too bad. After they get about a foot it will be a lot better though (duh!). It's lightly snowing here in New Meadows but it doesn't look like it will add up to much more than 2 or 3" tonight. We really need a dump.
