Where to stay in Alpine??

Hey i keep hearing good things about Alpine and i was wondering if there is any cool resorts to stay at or any snowmobille friendly lodges etc. Any advice would be great. I am looking to possibly spend four or five days over there sometime between christmas and the first or second of January. Thanks

i thought afton's east end had better riding.
the ride into greys was about 15 miles of trail before it opened up. should have been on a touring sled

maybe you are right. We had to trailer there because little snow to the trailhead. We were there at the end of march. No touring sled we know someone who lives there took us out.

My sister stayed at Rockin M and loved it. We stayed at an older motel last year, cant' remember the name of it. It was ok. Last year there was enough snow to ride from one end of the town to the other! The year before, no way. All the motels seems to cater to snowmobilers. I would make reservations soon.

We would love to have you stay with us. Our website is rockinmranchwyoming.com. There is riding in every direction from Alpine but is not as obvious where to go as the South End "Afton". In addition there is great boondocking on the Idaho side not far from the cabins. I would be happy to send you in the right direction depending on your riding style. I've been riding here for 15 years and every year I discover a place that I had not ridden in past years.
Thanks, Rob 307-654-2288
