where to refill abs canister in bc?

ABS canisters can't be filled by a paintball shop, only ABS can refill the ABS canisters. If you have a snowpulse canister or a BCA canister, they can possibly be filled by a paintball shop.

What part of BC? We can have one drop shipped to you if you can't find anyone in BC who can do it.

Snowbigdeal could you explain what a "refill" on an ABS air bottle is? There is more to it than just putting air in the bottle correct? Nitrogen? What else?

The abs canister uses compressed nitrogen (compressed at about 4,000 PSI). In addition the canister must be re-sealed because there is a small disc on the top of the canister that gets punctured each time the airbag is fired.
So, in order to refill the canister you need a machine that can re-seal the canister and fill it with nitrogen to 4,000 PSI.

When someone sends us an empty canister & trigger, we just replace it with a canister & trigger that has already been refilled. Once we have a large batch of cansiters, we send them in bulk to ABS who refills them.

Hopefully that helps.

ABS Trigger

Can you possibly elaborate on how the triggerworks and is "recharged"? Looks like a quick couple style air fitting when you "plug in" the trigger. The trigger also carries a "charge" correct?

Exactly, the trigger attaches to the airbag via a quick connect air fitting. Inside of the trigger is a small explosive charge (9mm casing with powder & primer). When the trigger is pulled it releases a spring, which fires the explosive charge. The pressure from the explosive charge travels up the air tube, which in turn forces a pin to puncture the canister.

In order to "refill" the trigger, it must have a new explosive charge installed into the trigger.

Picture below shows both an unused trigger and a used trigger (used has red showing).
