I am starting to plan a trip for a few of us here in Colorado and wanted to get some input on where you would recommend for a great 4-5 days of sledding in BC. We would like to go around the Revelstoke area (already been to Whistler) but open to suggestions. We looking to fly in and rent (22hrs each way does not sound fun) , I would image a lodge is the best bet. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you are ever in Colorado hit me up!

Sicamouse, Revy or Golden are all amazing places to ride....From Denver by car or by air there is no easy way to Revy...By air Kelowna is 2.5 hrs by car from Revy with Sicamouse being in the middle. From Calgary Revy is 6 hrs by car and Golden 4.5 hrs Golden to Revy is 2 hrs with dry roads.

Once in Revy there are numerous places to stay but you will have to trailer to hill. The Glacier house is right at the trail head 10 minutes from town and a good place to stay and rent sleds.... Zaldas is a must place to eat & drink

Revy Mountain Resort has been trying to negotiate with an airlines to provide weekly flights into Revy from Calgary but I'm not sure if any airlines has committed. You might call the resort for further info on flights. The resort also provides daily bus service from Kelowna which could be an option for you.

The weather in BC usually sucks early to mid season. Crazy lots of snow but many days are socked in. You may have a better chance for good weather if you travel after April !. Even better, would be to watch the weather and plan a week when its forecast for good weather. Prolly hard to do that with sled rentals and accommodations tho.
What kind of riding are you looking to do?
Powder?
Trees?
Glacier?
Chutes?
Trails?
If you give a bit of info about what riding you want to do then someone can steer you to the right place.
BC has lots of weed and someone can lend you a rifle if you feel the need to ride with one.
It's an accepted practice to ride stoned with a rifle strapped to your sled.

Thank you for all the help, we are more of a tree/freeride group and really don't get into chutes etc. Is there a place to ride in and out of since we will be flying in, I saw Grizzly Lodge and feedback on it?

Are you hoping to ride mostly one area or want to see a few different ones? Revy is very central so you can easily hit Sicamous, Golden, Radium, Shuswap etc from Revy.

In Revy you can ride from the door at Glacier House or the Peaks Lodge. I believe Rob Alford has a lodge and guides, Rene St. Onge and Carl Kuster guide and have lodges in Sicamous, and of course there is Grizzly lodge in the North Shuswap.

I'd love to hit all of them but realistically with no truck to transport it makes it difficult. Again thanks for the help
