Where do most guys go to ride from the Casper area?

Any good riding local to the area, and driving times to other spots?
Not familiar with the Casper area at all...

Thanks guys!

Used to live in casper. there is a little bit of riding in the casper mountains but not alot. Can be good if your the first one up after a big dump. Other then that plan on 3 hour drive. Either to tog, Horns or snowies/sierra madres

Right now, nowhere, there's no snow... :( I usually ride up on Casper Mtn./Muddy Mtn. because of the closeness of it. Casper Mtn. isn't anything special, usually it's just a place to get some therapy, definitely no Snowies. I live in Casper, and usually ride up there because of the closeness and it's cheaper because I'm in college. Unfortunately I haven't been riding this year at all. Snotel reads 10" of snow and is usually pretty accurate. It's read 9"-10" for about the past month. The Ski Resort only has one run open, and they claim a base of 14". We haven't had any fresh snow in about a month and a half. Although Monday we're supposed to get a possible whopping 3" on the mountain. As mentioned above, plan on riding the Snowies (Laramie), or North to the Bighorns (Saratoga area.)
