Where to get power for a AFR gauge??

Sorry if this has been asked already but I did a search and came up with nothing. Where is the best place to pull power for a AFR gauge? I seen some hooked up to the dc power by the headlight but was told by others not to hook it up there cause it draws to much power so just wanted some more opinions. thanks

I run a electric start harness and a battery. Powers afr and led lights

So anyone knows where its best to take it from? Got a oilpump running on my dc power so dunno if its that great taking it there either...
Im gonna run a Koso x-2 (afr, boost &intake) gauge.

Use the power cable from under the hood on the headlight/computer wiring harness. Splice the koso gauge plug into that as well. Works good
