Where to get BOV signal from?

I want to add a blow off valve to my 2010 M8 boondocker race gas setup w/ intercooler.

Where do I get the vaccume singal from?

Can you use one of the oil injection fittings in the reed boots? I am deleting the oil injection so that would be an easy option.

What is the best location for the BOV?

drill and tap into the throttle bodies RIGHT after the throttle butterfly, you want to be right behind it that way you get a good signal allowing quick actuation, as 2 strokes already dont make a lot of vaccum.,

Most kit makers just tie into one side. I know Push and Cutler tie into one throttle body. The BD instructions show them drilling and tapping both throttle bodies.

Twisted kits ties the two oil injection ports together and reads from that. As stated above, you get a Better, and a quicker reacting, vacuum source if you tie in just ahead (engine side) of one of the throttle bodies.

There are a few posts, with pictures, showing that mod.

Boy, you're really giving it the ole "once over." It otta :plane: when you're done. :face-icon-small-win

It flies already, but the dog days of summer force me to find projects on the sled to keep myself occupied. Gotta love tearing into a perfectly good turbo sled with 700 miles on it to pass the time! Found the extra motor mount you put on there. I like!

Did you have to pay for those sled lifts? Your golf game is going to suffer if you keep tearing those sleds apart!

I did not have to pay for the sled lifts. Oh how I enjoy reaping the benefits of being a brick and block salesman. Golf game is still hanging in there, even though I have found myself preferring the wrenches to the sticks lately.
