I would probably spend a lttle more on a steering post. Wildchild makes sweet chromoly posts, well built. I have a Wildchild post in my Apex with a 2" rise and a 7/8" tee-top, custom built to fit my midmount turbo kit.
PM him if interested, great guy to deal with, has some killer greaseable bushings for your post. Make sure you order all three bushings. They dont work in the CR post tho, unless you widen the stops.
