Hi Guys.

I'm looking for a 2000-2005 Ford F250 7.3d 4x4 to buy in the US, and ship it overseas.

Can someone point out to me a good place to look for one?
Guess I would prefer to deal with a car dealer, since I'm buying unseen, and shipping overseas. Kind of confidence to deal with "proffesionals" I guess.

Thanks

2002 was the last year for the 7.3 I think milehighasassin on this site just had a clean one he posted for sale.

Thank you. I'm not into US trukcs, just helping out a friend here. Thought they was all the way to 05. Now I know what year to look for.
If i have understood it correct, they came in 1998 with the 7.3?

If you're after a 7.3, look for an 02 or early 03. They changed mid year in 03 to the 6.0 nightmare.

I've had good luck using craigslist.

I had one for sale, link in my sig, but it is sold.
Where are you located? Do you have a shipper lined up already?

I'm located in Norway. Have shipper in New Jersey, who will pick up the car for me wherever in the US, and transport it overseas.

Not a clue if this is what your lookin for but only has 108xxx

That's the exactly type I'm looking for. But how does craigs list works actually? Never seen a advertisment site like that before. I see that the same car goes again and again several times.
And is it not possible to specify the search any better then searching car brand and type by free text?

Thanks

To be honest, on Craigslist you will have a hard time. People will think they are getting scammed since you are not here and having someone pick it up.
How do you plan on paying?

Anyone can post anything on craigslist ... even you from Norway can say you have a truck for sale in Saint Louis Missouri

Even a "dealer" can sell a bad car. You need to figuire out a process where you can confirm what you are buying.

7.3 l was made 92 to 2003 Best years are 96 to 2003.

Also emissions from areas in the US changed the power of the engine. There is a label on the passenger valve cover on the engine telling how the engine was setup. Unless the new owner modified it.

You are better to buy on EBAY with their vehicle Buyer Protection Policy.

Lets get serious ... do you know ALL the issues of this truck?

Plan was paying by wire transfer. But after looking after trucks, we come to find out, there is not that much price difference between US market and Norway. Taxes on Trucks are not that high in Norway. So I ended up ordering new front axle and transmission from a scrape yard in US. It was the most economical move we could do.
Have already a F250, and plan was buying a spare car to use parts from.

But thanks for all the help guys.
